Fish Sticks, Mac & Cheese

This morning terrorists struck in London by bombing the subway and a double decker bus. The AP tolled the casualties at 37 dead and 700 wounded. They are calling it the worst attack on London since WW2. An al-queda sect is claiming responsibility for this. This might be a dumb question but what the fuck is going on here people? Stuff like this makes you wonder what the hell is going on in the Middle East. The way we are handling things is really not solving anything. We believe that if we hit them where they live that we will break their spirit and win a glorious victory for world democracy. This ideal may have worked for Truman and Wilson, but it ain’t working for the W. Why? I’ll tell you why, it’s a different kind of enemy. It is not an enemy that “hates us for our freedom” (I swear if I hear one more person say that I will puke). These people will not tolerate our presence and us trying to Americanize them. They will die before that happens. So what, you might be thinking? Why should I care, you might be saying? I’ll tell you why, because they will fight and car bomb, and suicide bomb, and bomb in cities around the world to keep us out and second guessing ourselves. I am about to say something that you may not agree with, but let’s get the F out of there. This is a war that is not winable unless we make it a colony of ours for the purpose of natural resources (oil). People are dying for no clear objective or plan because Rumsfeld, W, and Karl Rove don’t want to appear weak or wavering. Congrats fools, you don’t appear wavering, but you do appear ignorant. And when I see W quoted as saying “Americans must remain vigilant,” isn’t this what Hitler used to say to spark nationalism while he pursued his own agenda of imperialism and bringing pride to people in other lands. Hmmm, weird parallel there. I don’t know, maybe I am nuts here, but its not working and when something doesn’t work, I always believed intelligent people made adjustments. But then again the man in charge can’t even ride a bicycle.
