personalization of victim's in london
not much time to post today, but i wanted to mention that the AP is running a series called "sketches of the victim's." it contains brief bio's of some people murdered by the terrorist bombings in london. this is a fantastic tribute in my opinion. it serves a sort e-eulogy and reminds the world that these people were not extremists, activists, or radicals; they were everyday people like you and me, who were on their way to work to put food on the table for their families.
they were people. they were murdered. it really makes you value the quality of life, because it can be taken from you by someone with a political agenda. it is sickening and sad. sucks, plain and simple.
here is the link if you would like to read the write-up > http://news.yahoo.com/news?tmpl=story&u=/ap/20050711/ap_on_re_eu/bombings_victims_thumbnails_1
