3-years?!! where are we at?

so it is three year anniversary of the war this week, and i have to ask the question, where are we at with it? is the world safer? do we have cheap gas? is there democracy in iraq? do the iraq people love us? why are we still there?

i give up, you tell me?

Comments:
hhmm, where to begin?

obviously your opinion is biased due to your geography and the fact that you probably had these thoughts drilled into your head from a young age.

i will leave you but one thing to ponder (and avoid mud slinging, such as "whining commentary"); maybe, just mabe, our illustrious government and your president owe the people something other than war and violence. do we not elect them (well he wasn't actually elected) to represent our best interests in the world? shouldn't war be the last ditch effort, not the first in the form of pre-emptive strike?

so i say people like our soldiers do not need to die to support our life styles. they only do when our govenrment and president are incompetent, stupid, and too lazy to take care of business the correct way. bullying other nations doesn't work. don't believe me? look at iraq and afghanistan? we have been there three years and they are as instable as ever, and we are no safer here either.

don't beleive the W propaganda machine. the wqar is a miserable failure, and he can't back out now cause it is the only thing that gung ho, SUV-exhaust sniffing whiners support. back out and he loses you, and he has already lost 70% of the population so he doesn't want to risk losing the other 30%.

The war is very sad, and seemingly, unending.
